Kaya Doran is an interdisciplinary creative with active projects in market research and musical artistry.
As a market researcher, she’s worked with a diverse array of organizations and individuals including Grossman and Partners, Brandon Keene (a former Principal Manager at Microsoft), and Nachtsession (a National German Public Radio show by Bayerischer Rundfunk). Most recently, she’s worked with Culinairy Labs—a Harvard/MIT startup.
As a musical artist, she’s developed a varied portfolio as a music producer, composer, songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. Doran’s independently-produced debut EP, “Mellow into Blue,” marked her first foray as a solo artist. Her music draws on a wide range of influences and genres—spanning from jazz to classical, and electronic to traditional Korean Pansori. Currently based in Boston, Doran is also a keen supporter and activist for the arts. She is an active founding member of The Jam Fam Collective and has previously been an instructor for Rosie’s Place—teaching songwriting arts as a tool for operationalizing self-expression and creativity into empowerment and resilience.
